On Tuesday, North Carolina ended up taking out the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest. Giving North Carolina a run for their money was star junior CJ Harris of Wake Forest. He had a 19 point game, eight of which were scored in the last eight minutes. While he had an impressive 49 percent success rate with his 3-pointers, he made his one out of six count. Tar Heel Reggie Bullock blocked every shot he could get his hands on, effectively keeping Wake Forest from taking the win. Bullock stated his main goal of the night was to try and shut down Harris. Bullock does an excellent job at staying low, remaining in control of his opponent, and keeping the other team from scoring. Wake Forest really struggled against NC. With Harris’ 8 point run at the end, it looked like Wake Forest was coming to life, but it was too late. The Tar Heels capped the finish with a 19 point lead for the game winner; 68-53. North Carolina is playing with significant drive and determination to win the game. Match it up with the stacked Tar Heel talent, they are on a roll. This Saturday North Carolina (No. 5) will take on Duke (No.7). It will be a great match up; both teams have a lot of talent.
