Craziest Personalities in College Basketball – Elizabeth Garabedian

There is really nothing like a crazed, angry coach, fan or announcer to really get a game going, especially in college basketball. When they are red in the face and furiously running up and down the bench, or covered in paint jumping around the stands, or screaming into a microphone, it is impossible not to stare (or laugh, for that matter.)

Bleacherreport.com has again compiled another fantastic list of entertaining aspects of sports, this time focusing on the most aggressive personalities in college basketball. Starting with Dick Vitale and ending with Frank Martin, the site seems to really know their way around chaos in basketball. It also features a hyped up Thad Matta, a screaming Mike Krzyzewski, and Rick Pitino looking like he is about to pop.

These crazy personalities are the backbone of the teams we all know and love, and they are basically the ones driving them on the court throughout the seasons, bringing home victories and championships. And watching them blow up on the sideline on television is pretty entertaining, too. Sean Miller is quite the sight for sore eyes, with his eyes nearly popping out of his head. Thad Matta’s face tends to blend in with the scarlet color worn by the fans in the stands. And Bob Huggins is always a favorite for referees, consistently getting in their faces and closing in on ejection every so often. Regardless, they have all brought in countless wins and have a plethora of championships under their belts, and there is no way basketball would be the same if they were not going wild on the sidelines.
