Childish Act By Kiffin

Childish Act By Kiffin

I know we’ve heard enough about Lane Kiffen already, but this guy just loves doing the most outlandish things.

With signing day behind us it is time for us to look back at the schools who were the days biggest winners. We can safely look back and argue until the season starts about the ESPN Top-150′s decisions. Usually the players on this prestigious list are the athletes that get the television coverage. Since this is a Lane Kiffin story, as the reader won’t be surprised to hear that a 13-year-old child committed to the University of Southern California.

David Sills, a 13-year-old boy from Delaware, verbally committed to USC as a quarterback.

It’s a good thing Lane scooped him up now because over the next four years someone may want to take him. If I was allowed to ask Lane Kiffin one question in my lifetime, I was look him straight in the eyes and ask:

“Why?”

Don’t be surprised if this guy runs for governor of California once Arnold Schwarzenegger’s term is done. I can’t believe he would actually waste time going across country to watch a Mighty-Might Pop Warner game. The guy can recruit like no other and maybe it’s a direct result of having all this time from not coaching. Now this explains why Tennessee was so bad because Coach Kiffin was too busy recruiting.

Too bad I didn’t go to college with him because I would love to see the record numbers he put up at Fresno State when he skipped his senior season to become a student-assistant coach. He couldn’t of enjoyed being a back-up quarterback and maybe he is now trying to turn little David Sills into his protege.

Whatever the case, it’s childish Lane.

Taylor (13-5) fought his way to the finals of season seven of The Ultimate Fighter, but was removed from the finale after an allegedly violent drunken episode in public. He cleaned up his act and was allowed a second shot in the Octagon, but was released after losing to C.B. Dollaway in July of 2008.
